What is an enzyme?

An enzyme is a protein endowed with catalytic properties. Their role is to catalyse the chemical reactions of living organisms. An enzyme allows the speed of a process to increase without being consumed, therefore without appearing in the reaction balance.
Like all catalysts, enzymes are not modified during the reactions they catalyse, and do not alter the chemical equilibrium between substrates and products.
Enzymes allow reactions to occur millions of times faster than in their absence.

The different enzymes:
Proteolytic enzymes (proteases) transform proteins into amino acids and peptides. Glycolytic enzymes (amylase, maltase, sucrase and lactase) transform carbohydrates into glucose. Lipolytic enzymes (lipase) transform lipids into fatty acids.

Serrazimes: comes from the patented brand Serrazimes®, manufactured in the USA. It is extracted from a culture of 2 fungi which secrete serrapeptase proteases. This fungal culture method is the only source of serrapeptase accepted by European authorities.

Nattokinase: It is a proteolytic enzyme derived from natto, a Japanese food. Natto, discovered in 1083 by the Japanese samurai Minamoto Yoshiie, is a fermented soybean (Glycine max L.) food and one of the most consumed in Japan. Natto is produced by fermentation by adding the bacterium Bacillus subtilis var natto, which also produces the enzyme, to boiled soybeans.

Bromelain: also called bromeline (or bromelase), is an active ingredient extracted from the pineapple stem. It is a mixture of enzymes extracted from pineapple capable of digesting proteins.

How to take PhytoEnzyme capsules?

• 1 capsule 3 times a day outside of meals
• 3 months renewable

Contraindications:

• Do not consume if you are taking an antiplatelet agent
