Dietary supplements and joints to relieve pain
Osteoarthritis is not inevitable: cartilage rebuilds itself and certain natural products offer support and an alternative to conventional treatments for greater flexibility.
Joint pain: it can be fought
The new regulatory tightening imposed by the legislator on laboratories and shops selling dietary supplements is only an additional step in the campaigns orchestrated against supplementation with natural products. The targeted objective is, of course, to discredit dietary supplements in order to leave the field open to pharmaceutical laboratories.
However, there are more and more studies tending to show the effectiveness of dietary supplements for health, and this is particularly the case regarding joint problems. We note the French study of 2009, involving 871 patients complaining of joint pain and followed by 180 doctors.
Beyond the role of the cell and free radicals in cartilage degeneration, this study aimed to verify the effectiveness of natural dietary supplementation on joint problems and the results speak for themselves:
- 2/3 of people taking a targeted dietary supplement noticed positive results before 10 days
- 90% of patients observed an improvement in their pain after 60 days
- 90% of patients saw their joint mobility improve
- 90% of patients perfectly tolerated the supplementation while 50% of patients treated only with medication had to resort to gastric protectors.
An obvious conclusion emerges: the provision of a targeted dietary supplement is decisive in improving joint pain and mobility problems.
The same phenomenon was observed in another study aiming to observe the effects of dietary supplementation on the results of outpatient care (physiotherapy and osteopathy treatments).
- In less than 7 days, more than 60% of patients noticed an acceleration of treatment results.
The cell is the smallest entity of the human body, so it is the place where all problems are resolved.
When the cell lacks raw materials, its functioning becomes abnormal… It must therefore be nourished by providing the essential elements for its functioning, but it must also be protected from free radicals.
Which products can we turn to?
- Sulfur is therefore the central actor and the essential building material. Sulfur derived from maritime pine bark is very effective against joint pain. It is found in capsules under the name of MSM.
- It is combined with the classic glucosamine chondroitin. It should be noted that glucosamine and chondroitin are produced from sulfur.
- As an external treatment, massaging a painful area with a sulfur stone immediately soothes and softens the joints.
- The use of hyaluronic acid and marine collagen powder complements the therapeutic arsenal. Because it is indeed the collagen function of the human body that must be reactivated.
- Phytotherapy also offers an arsenal of useful plants: Horsetail, meadowsweet, devil's claw…
We will remember that osteoarthritis is not inevitable, that cartilage rebuilds itself and that natural products offer support and an alternative to conventional treatments.
