Polyporus umbellatus or polypore of the Polyporaceae family.
Other names for this species: “Zhu Ling”, “Tsuchi-maitake”, “Maitake chorei” and “Grifola umbellatus”.
It grows on the ground, the fruiting body emerging from a sclerotium (a sclerotium is the winter storage form of certain fungi) mainly associated with the roots of oaks. It develops in summer and early autumn, in deciduous woods.
It can reach 50 cm. It is a rare mushroom, good edible when young. Only the aerial part of the mushroom is consumed.

Nutritionally, it contains proteins, copper and zinc. Other interesting active biomolecules are beta glucans, terpenes, enzymes and provitamin D.

How to take Mico Polypor capsules?

Recommended daily dose: 1 to 2 capsules, in the morning – or as advised by your practitioner –.
Recommended duration of use: minimum 60 days.
