Learn a little more about the Sun Mushroom

• The Sun Mushroom or Agaricus blazei Murill is one of the best known and most studied medicinal mushrooms due to its high content of polysaccharides and minerals such as zinc, of utmost importance for the immune system.
• Originating from Brazil where it was recently discovered, it is now cultivated in the USA and Japan.
• Other names: "Cogumelo do sol", “Brazilian oyster mushroom”, “Agaricus brasiliensis”, “Ji Song Rong” or “Himematsutake”.
• It is a medicinal mushroom of the family agaricaceae. It is a species close to the common mushroom.
  It prefers warm climates and partially sunny areas, generally on the edge of forest regions. Its cap measures about 20 to 70 mm and takes a cubical shape. It can be gold, brown or light brown in colour.
  Its gills are pink then darken with age. The flesh remains white. Finally, the stem is generally thick and somewhat bulbous at the base.
• It is an excellent edible mushroom with a flavour close to almond.
• In Brazil, Agaricus blazei belongs to the traditional pharmacopoeia where it is considered a longevity mushroom.
• According to Japanese scientists, the benefits of this Brazilian mushroom come particularly from a very specific ingredient: beta-glucans, types of complex sugars called polysaccharides, which have an immunomodulatory effect.

How to take Mico Sol capsules?

• Recommended daily dose:
  1 to 2 capsules - or as prescribed by a doctor - in the morning, preceded by one or two tablets of Askorbato K-HdT (rich in vitamin C and antioxidants) to promote the absorption of beta-glucans.
• Recommended duration of use: minimum 60 days.
