• What exactly is NAC or N-Acetyl Cysteine?

• It is a derivative of a sulphur-containing amino acid: L-Cysteine.
• It is naturally synthesised by the body from other amino acids.
• It is more stable and has better bioavailability, so it can be used more efficiently by the body.
• It is a dietary precursor of reduced glutathione which is the main antioxidant of cells (glutathione destroys free radicals but also recycles and restores the antioxidant power of vitamins C and E).

How to use NAC or N-Acetyl Cysteine?

• 2 to 3 capsules per day with water

Precautions:

• Do not use in case of kidney problems or gastric ulcers.
  
• Not recommended in case of fructose allergy.
• Avoid simultaneous consumption with the antibiotic amoxicillin (penicillin) due to the possibility of increased tissue levels of this antibiotic.
• Do not use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
